We are now coming out of the darkness of winter, the days are getting longer, and we can definitely feel the spring approaching here in San Francisco. What does that mean? New windows at the shop! Come by and visit our fantastical treat to Spring as we turn our windows into a gallery of imagination. Artist, Curtis H. Arima, will show his sculptural work in the windows for the next three months.
We will be having a special artist tribute to Curtis on March 3rd and 4th where he will be showing his one of a kind jewelry pieces and while we also celebrate his sculptures in our mini window gallery. Of course Rose Cut, our wine bar on the mezzanine level, will be open…this is going to be a fun event showcasing one of the bay areas most incredible talents. Sculptor, Artist, Master Metal-Smith, when you’ve got it you’ve got it!

It’s not every day you get to host an event for the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. You’ve seen the sisters dressed to the nines on any given day throughout the Castro, and if you have ever been to Dolores Park on Easter Sunday you know exactly who these ladies are. Besides adding to San Francisco’s colorful reputation, the SPI organization has been devoted to community service, individual ministry and outreach to those on the edge since 1979. Promoting human rights, respect for diversity and spiritual enlightenment, The Sisters believe all people have a right to express their unique joy and beauty.
Now it’s our turn to give back to the Sisters who have given so much to so many others. All proceeds from the wine tasting, as well as a percentage of jewelry sales from the event, will be donated directly to the organization. This one is not to be missed.
When: Saturday January 28th 2012, 5-8PM
